SnapCue is a macOS application that uses AI to analyze screenshots of academic questions and provide suggested answers. The service is provided “as is” and answers are generated by AI, which means they may not always be accurate.
SnapCue provides AI-generated answers with confidence scores. These answers are suggestions and should not be treated as guaranteed correct. Always verify important answers independently. SnapCue is a study aid, not a substitute for learning.
You are responsible for how you use SnapCue. We provide a tool — how you use it in your academic environment is your decision and your responsibility. Be aware of your institution's academic integrity policies.
SnapCue requires an account and offers a free monthly allowance, optional paid subscriptions, and one-time credit packs. Current prices, allowances, and supported Mac requirements are listed on the pricing page and download page. Downloading the app or using the free allowance does not itself create a paid subscription.
Optional purchases are processed through Stripe. Review the product, price, and billing interval at checkout before paying. Subscriptions renew until canceled; one-time credit packs are not subscriptions. You can manage or cancel renewal from SnapCue → Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation and refunds are separate actions.
SnapCue and its design, code, and branding are owned by SnapCue. You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use the app.
SnapCue is not liable for any academic consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated answers. Use at your own discretion.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of SnapCue after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
