SnapCue is now in public beta.

We've been building SnapCue quietly for the past few months. Today, it's available for anyone to download.

What is SnapCue?

SnapCue is a macOS menu bar app. You press a keyboard shortcut, it captures your screen, and AI analyzes any questions it finds. The answers show up in a tiny dropdown panel — right from your menu bar.

No browser tabs. No copy-pasting. No switching apps.

Why we're launching in beta

We want real feedback from real students before we charge anything. During beta, SnapCue is completely free. No account needed. Just download the .dmg and start using it.

Here's what you get:

• All question types supported — multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, math, short answer, and more
• Two capture modes — silent capture (⌃⌥S) grabs your front window quietly, area select (⌃⌥A) lets you draw a box around exactly what you want
• Confidence scores — every answer comes with a green/yellow/red dot so you know how certain the AI is
• Zero footprint — no dock icon, no main window, no files saved to disk

What's coming next

We're working on user accounts, payment integration, and a few features we're not ready to talk about yet. If you try SnapCue and have thoughts, we'd genuinely love to hear them.
